Everything on this site is free, and there is nothing for sale on this page. No trial, no credit card, no “upgrade” button, no feature held back behind one.
Sponsorship and advertising placements — a lender, a title company, an insurer or a contractor paying to appear next to content their customers read. That is the whole model. Nothing is on sale yet; see /advertise for the placements as they will look.
Two things we will not do, because they change whose side we are on: we will never take a commission on your transaction (that is brokerage, and we are not a brokerage), and we will never take a fee for referring you to a settlement-service provider — a lender, a title agent, an escrow company, an appraiser or an insurer. Referral fees on a federally-related mortgage loan are prohibited by RESPA §8, 12 U.S.C. §2607, and we do not want the incentive even where they would be legal.

If any of them ever does go on sale, it will be additive. Nothing that is free today moves behind a paywall.
County records are public records. The JSON API is token-less and returns the same rows the pages show, under the same suppression rules: no phone numbers, no email addresses, states whose own law restricts commercial use of a public list excluded entirely, and opt-outs honoured on the next request. If you want a bulk feed, ask — the answer will be about the county's terms, not about a price list.
