What that means in practice	UPDATED BY F5259. Tenn. Pub. Ch. 72 (2025) (HB 781 / SB 909) defines wholesaling as assigning the buyer's equitable interest to a subsequent purchaser for a higher price, and REQUIRES written disclosure (a) to a potential subsequent purchaser or assignee of the nature of the buyer's equitable interest, and (b) to the SELLER of the buyer's intent to market its equitable interest PRIOR TO EXECUTION of the contract, plus notice of the effective date of any assignment at least THREE BUSINESS DAYS before that effective date. The disclosures must be in BOLD, LARGE FONT PRINT and included in the written agreement. Failure creates a private cause of action; 2-year limitation.
